I bought mine from a used fitness equipment store, so that I could check out some different models. In the end, I chose this one because of form factor and price. I prefer the flywheel in the front as opposed to other models which have it in the back or even the middle (very old designs). It was super quiet, and choosing a program is really easy. I am not the type to require overly complicated or full featured displays on fitness equipment - I feel that's overkill. To give an idea, I paid $650 for a one year old elliptical. Good model though. Very happy with it.
