Purchased an earlier version of the same bike some 14 years ago and had great success with it. Was putting about 5,000 miles a year on the bike and the original model finally gave out. Shopped around but could not find one that seemed as good as the Vision product. The new bike, while very similar to the first one I owned, has changes that are are a big improvement. In addition to the expected better "electronics", they eliminated the crossmember between the seat and the front upright, making getting on and off the bike much easier. This product is also much quieter than my first model and has a larger seat back for more comfort. The seat back is made of a mesh material that also allows better ventilation/comfort for my daily hour long rides. My only criticism is that I wish there was a better/larger book holder "lip" on the bottom of the display panel. Does not readily allow for a larger book, or my iPad, to rest comfortably on the bike. However, I quickly manufactured a new holder that just clips over the original and securely holds my reading/viewing materials.

The first one came in broken and the next one works fine but does not have any new features. We bought one of these about five years ago at a much lower price and I think the older console is better than this one. Overall I have been disappointed with the and unit the purchase.
