Actually had to send it back
By Kirk
I was delivered and relatively easy to put together. If you are not particularly strong, you will need a friend or two as the belt and motor housing comes all in one piece and is the bulk of the weight.
Then came the problems. I got it all hooked up and was ready to work out. I'd get 5 seconds into a workout and then the workout would pause. It appeared like something was hitting the back button though nothing was touching the screen. I think in the time I had this in my house, I got to work out on it once. I called the tech support line and they promised they'd send me out a new console. A month goes by, nothing. I call them back. Oh sorry sir, I will check on that and get it right out to you. another 3 weeks goes by...nothing. So I called Amazon back and they agreed to come and pick up this lemon. Icon fitness, the company behind this treadmill and many many other exercise equipment, needs to do a better job customer support. After this fiasco I will avoid anything made by that company. An example on how to do it correctly, I bought 2 years ago an indoor bike from Costco and it came with 1 year of on site support. I had an issue, they came out to my house, fixed it and I was happy. Icon expected to ship the part, for me to take the whole treadmill apart and replace everything myself as if I know how to troubleshoot their electronics. For this much money, I expect more. I am glad it is out of my house.

Nice!
By David J Terry
Just received this, put together with my 11 yo daughter(as much as possible, she was on her ipod frequently) and so far so good. It will take some time for a fair review but packaging was good, installation was fairly easy(about 3 hours with distractions) and initial use was pretty easy and good. Got hooked into my WIFI pretty simply. Will write more after some use......
Update: Been using for 2 weeks and really like it. Just signed up for ifit so I will comment on that in the future. The touch screen works well. The running surface is nice and long and also folds up nicely and easily out of the way.
